Kathy has over 25 years of retail and brand experience. As an eCommerce pioneer and digital transformation expert, Kathy has built, led, and consulted for businesses in prestige beauty, men's and women's apparel, home goods, furniture, toys, gadgets, and grocery.
Before founding Digital Luminary, Kathy held senior positions at large brand portfolio companies, including private equity-backed ThreeSixty Group and Dorel Industries. She led digital transformation and had P&L responsibility for brands such as Sharper Image, FAO Schwarz, Signature Sleep, Dorel Home Products, and Cosco Home & Office. In addition to the sales and merchandising teams, Kathy had the technology team report to her.
Kathy began her career working for many national retailers, including Macy's, Pottery Barn, and The Gap. She spent over fifteen years in various leadership roles, including merchandise buying, launching new product categories, and growing the latest brands. In addition, Kathy was an early-stage employee of start-ups, Eve.com and Mertado.com (since acquired by Groupon), in which she built teams and businesses from the ground up.
